Wardogs Havoc guide: cost, flying it, and how to counter it
The Havoc is Wardogs’ headline attack helicopter and the biggest target in the sky. Here is what it costs, how to fly it, and what kills it.

Unlock and cost
- Unlock: Pilot level 35.
- Cost to field: roughly $26k: $18k spawn, about $1.8k in kits, around $4.95k in loadout (1 flare, 6 rocket sets, 3×200 gunner ammo). Have the gunner buy their ammo.
Handling and roles
- Sluggish and huge. Treat it as a gun platform, not a Little Bird. Come to a stop to give the gunner angles; do not try to out‑turn infantry AA at speed.
- Rockets spread. Expect erratic pods; walk them in and use them to flush operators off CIWS/Talon.
When not to launch
If both teams are building AA, skip it. CIWS now kills a Havoc in about 6 s after the early‑October hotfix. MANPADS stacks and a single shoulder‑fired anti‑tank launcher are its real counters in the open.
Staying alive
- Terrain mask. Stay under the lock line on the transit; pop up only to attack.
- Break locks properly. Dive low, wait a beat, flare, then change direction.
- Kill the operator. CIWS and Talon cannot aim straight up; come from behind cover and circle inside the blind cone. Unfinished builds die quickly.
Practise it
In the trainer, fly target orbit and under the radar in the Havoc to feel its inertia.
