This Week in Wardogs: Havoc whiplash, parachutes at 25 m, and six days to Season 2
We watched the most‑viewed Wardogs videos from the past week and a half so you don’t have to, and pulled out what matters if you fly.

The Havoc had a week
The Havoc went from glass cannon to flying tank and back in four days. Update 0.1.2 fixed a bug that made it take extra damage from 20/30 mm cannons (reason CIWS insta‑killed it). The fix overshot; creators showed a main battle tank dying faster than a Havoc. On October 2 the devs hotfixed it, and a CIWS now takes about 6 s instead of 12. GhostGaming also covers IR rangefinders being pulled until Season 2 (they return with batteries). If you are on the other side, yaboyburtt makes the case that one infantryman with an anti‑tank launcher is still what Havoc pilots fear most.
Parachutes are getting a 25 m floor
This is the big one for pilots. On the BigfryTV Push to Talk podcast, the devs said the minimum parachute height was always meant to be 25 m, not ~2.5 m. They are raising it so pilots go back to the job they described as “swoop in, J‑turn, land in the zone.” There’s no firm date yet; expect more real landings. If your J‑hook is rusty, now’s the time.
Season 2: October 15
Rain is a per‑map weather state (it does not roll in mid‑match) and it beads on windscreens. Cash and XP wipe; cash converts to gold bars; store items carry over. Four new weapons and new ammo types arrive, plus a visor on the tier‑4 helmet that may fog. One to remember before the wipe: the end‑of‑match bonus is about 40% of your role XP, so don’t AFK at 98 points.

9TSIXTH made 300k in one life sniping at 900 m with a spotter, and shroud built a FOB blue team won’t forget. EXP brought in a real firearms expert to judge the guns. AngryJoeShow landed at an 8/10: a 10/10 gameplay loop, held back by the grind. And BULKHEAD’s own Community Highlights Week 03 is 84 seconds of the best clips.
